Got news that Steve Irwin got killed by a stingray today. Its really sad. Steve shows the world australian native wildlife on his documentaries, not that Im a big fan but I do like watching documentaries. He has fought crocs and brown snakes and nothing happened to him before but yet he gets killed by a stingray which is very rare. At least when he died, he was doing what he loves doing... Hope he rest in peace.

Makes me think that anything can happen these days...
Should treasure what we have and people we love and of cos pursue our dreams, what we really love doing instead of putting it in the backburner - till tommorrow or future... What if tommorrow never comes?

Wow, that is really sad...he seemed genuinely nice & a little crazy which was part of his charm....thanks for sharing this as I'd heard nothing about it otherwise...

I don't know if you've heard of György Ligeti, but he died in June & there was little or nothing about his death. He was an amazing composer and it's sad that he's gone too....

Yeah there has been lotsa tributes to him. Everyone loves him. Aus is now short of a big time conservationalist.
